The Blessing, sung over us
The ancient priestly blessing — spoken over Israel in the wilderness, and still spoken over us — set to song. Let the heavens carry it as you listen.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
The song also echoes the watchcare of Psalm 121 (“He who watches over you will not slumber”) and the promise of Romans 8:31 (“If God is for us, who can be against us?”).
