Psalm

Praise Him, Highest Heavens

After Psalm 148

Praise the Lord from the heavens;

praise Him in the heights above.

Praise Him, all His angels;

praise Him, sun and moon and shining stars.

You highest waters above the sky,

and you clouds that carry His voice,

be glad in the work you were given.

You were made to praise, and you do it well.

Let the heavens praise the name of the Lord,

for He commanded and they were created.

He set them in their places forever;

they do not slip, and they do not grow weary.

I am the slowest of all Your works,

but let me join them now.

Stars and skies and sheltering heights,

teach me the song you have always been singing.
