Psalm

He Made the Moon for Seasons

After Psalm 104

He made the moon to mark the seasons,

and the sun knows when to go down.

You bring on the darkness and it is night,

when every beast of the forest stirs.

The young lions roar for their prey,

seeking their food from God.

The sun rises, and they withdraw to their dens;

man goes out to his work until evening.

How many are Your works, O Lord!

In wisdom You made them all;

the earth is full of Your creatures,

and the sky is full of Your lights.

I will sing to the Lord all my life;

I will sing praise to my God while I have being.

May my meditation be pleasing to Him,

as the moon is pleasing in its seasons.
