You came this far by grace. Now let your yes become words. The throne is open — come and lay your life down, and let Him lift you up.

Surrender is not a feeling to summon — it is a decision to make. Read this prayer aloud, slowly, and mean it from your heart. The words are not magic; the faith behind them is what reaches the throne of grace.
Lord Jesus, I come to You as a sinner in need of grace. I have lived for myself, run my own life, and fallen short of Your glory. Today I stop running.
I believe You are the Son of God — that You lived the life I could not live, died the death I deserved, and rose on the third day in victory. I turn from my sin and my self-rule. I lay down my plans, my rights, my verdict, and my throne.
I deny myself. I take up my cross. I follow You. Be my Lord, my Savior, my King. From this day forward I am not my own — I am Yours, bought with a price.
Lead me, teach me, keep me, and make me the person You created me to be. Everything I am and everything I have I place in Your hands. Amen.
"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."
Welcome to the Family
You were lost, and now you are found. You were a stranger, and now you are a son or daughter of the Most High. The same heaven that declares God's glory just erupted with joy over what you did — because the same God who numbered the stars just wrote your name in the Lamb's Book of Life.
"There will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance... Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
The angels saw you pray. And they rejoiced.
Now Begin to Walk
Surrender is the first breath of a new life. A life needs a body to grow in. Here are three steps to take — this week, not someday.
Find a Bible-Believing Church
You were never meant to follow Jesus alone. Find a local church that teaches the Bible faithfully, worships Christ as Lord, and will walk with you in this new life. Don't just attend — belong. Get known, get discipled, and let a body of believers carry you.
"Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another."
Tell Others What You Did — and Why
Surrender is not a secret to keep. Tell someone today what you did and why. Confession makes it real. Let the people in your life know that you have given your life to Jesus Christ — not to impress them, but because He is worthy and they need to know Him too.
"I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes."
Find Other Believers
You now have brothers and sisters you have never met. Seek out believers who will pray with you, study the Word with you, and keep you accountable when the road gets hard. The same Christ who called you calls you into a family — lean on them, and let them lean on you.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow."
Keep Looking Up
The same heavens that declare His glory now declare Him your Father. Return here whenever your wonder fades — the sky still preaches, and the King still holds you.
